What is an Optometrist?
Doctors of optometry (ODs) are the primary health care professionals for the eye.
Optometrists examine, diagnose, treat, and manage diseases, injuries, and disorders of the visual system,
the eye, and associated structures as well as identify related systemic conditions affecting the eye.
They are the only physicians who are formally trained in refraction and optics to provide you the superior vision you deserve.
Seeing an optometrist first for your routine eyecare assures that, should you require surgical care, you will be
seen by the best surgical specialist for that particular condition, helping to protect your vision.
